By accessing or using StatDek ("the Service"), a tournament bracket and event management tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
StatDek lets a tournament director create and run single-elimination, double-elimination, and Swiss-format tournaments, assign courts, record match results, and share a live spectator view and results page with participants and spectators. Anyone with a tournament's Passkey ID can view its live status, bracket, standings, and results — no account or login is required to view tournament data.
StatDek does not require you to create a username, password, or profile. When you start a new tournament, the Service creates an anonymous, device-linked session used solely to determine who is allowed to manage that tournament. This session is not tied to your name, email, or any other personal identifier.
Tournament names, player/team names, match results, standings, and venue assignments entered by a director are publicly viewable by anyone who has the tournament's Passkey ID or spectator/results link. Do not use the Service for private or confidential events unless you are comfortable with that data being visible to anyone with the link.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for lost data, missed matches, or scheduling issues resulting from downtime, connectivity problems, or errors in the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StatDek and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to disputes arising from tournament outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.
We may update these Terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to support @ statdek.com.
